 No gas - whoopie! 5 years old and running strong! Oct 07, 2008
I bought mine over 5 years ago; it was only $20 cheaper back then. I've had no problems and nothing has broken on it. I clean the grass off it each time I use it and sharpen the blade a couple times a year. You just have to get used to using one of these things; cord management, how to attack tall grass, etc. But it's so much lighter and easier to use than a gas mower. But, I have a small yard that I mow it with and it takes me about 25 minutes to do it all, and I only have to mow maybe 6 times a year. Over 5.5 years this comes to 14 hours of operation. For me it's the right choice as it is easier and cheaper to maintain and operate than a gas mower and with the small yard I don't have to hassle with 200' of electrical cord to get the job done. It would probably far outlive an equivalent gas mower.

Mulch factor is good. Runs quitely. It is a little heavy to push around.
If you turn into your cut at the end of each run, the cord is manageable.
Overall it is a good purchase.

Works just fine. However, I should have purchased one where the handle switches, and you don't have to turn the entire machine around at the end of the row. I had a bit of a problem when assembling the machine, so it took longer than anticipated. Watched the grass grow in the meantime. It takes care of my yard just fine, and I don't have to worry about fumes from a gas mower, and don't have to figure out if I have enough gas to finish the lawn. Gotta love that!

I really like this mower. Works really well on my mid-size florida yard. Great mulching ability! Love the way it starts up every time, first time. My husband does not like the cord or "leash" as he calls it. Overall I would recommend it to my friends.

OKAY FOLKS!!! BOUGHT THIS LAWNMOWER. SO FAR SO WONDERFUL
I LIVE ON A GRASSLESS LOT EXCEPT FOR THE DITCH AND A FEW SPRIGS HERE AND THERE. HAVE NOT MULCHED IN APPROX 1 1/2 YEARS. OLD GAS MOWER BROKE ITS STARTING COIL LINE. I THREW EVERYTHING I HAD,FIGURED IF IT WAS GOOD IT COULD HANDLE IT.MULCHED LEAVES MOSTLY PINE NEEDLES AND CONES.WORKED LIKE A CHAMP. TURNED THE MOWER OVER BLADE TOOK IT FINE. NO CHIPS.AFTER MULCHING , TOOK BLOWER, BLOWED ALL DIRT AND DEBRIE OFF. TOOK RAG WIPED THE TOP AND HANDLE. WALLA!!! READY FOR STORAGE. NO GAS,NO FUMES!!!NO MESS.TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN GAS 22 INCH.SO WHAT!!! DO HAVE TO MANAGE THE CORD A LITTLE BETTER.I HAVE 10 PINE TREES IN THE FRONT.BUT NOT A BAD PROBLEM.LOVE THE MOWER!!!
ONLY USE 2 TIMES A YEAR. SO ON TO NEXT YEAR IN THE SPRING
